Suci Zulaikha Hildayani, Chemistry Graduate of FSM UNDIP: From Chemistry Student to Computational Researcher at BRIN
After completing her Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry at FSM UNDIP in 2012, Ms. Suci Zulaikha Hildayani continued her education at the Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB), where she earned her Master’s and Doctoral degrees in Chemistry, the latter of which she completed in 2023. Her career began as a lecturer in the Department of Chemistry at FSM UNDIP from 2015 to 2016. She then served as a Chemistry teacher at Islamic Global School SMA Mutiara Bunda Bandung from 2018 to 2023, where she was also actively involved in mentoring students for Chemistry Olympiads. In 2024, she joined the National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN) as a researcher in computational chemistry.
Ms. Suci has earned several prestigious achievements, including Gold Medals in the National Science Olympiad (OSN) for Chemistry Teachers at the national level in 2020 and 2021, as well as completing her doctoral studies at ITB in 2023. These accomplishments became a strong foundation for her successful career as a computational chemistry researcher at BRIN.
The knowledge and experience Ms. Suci gained during her time at FSM UNDIP played a fundamental role in her career development. Not only did she acquire in-depth academic knowledge in chemistry, but she also developed practical skills and analytical abilities that have been invaluable in facing challenges in both research and education. A supportive academic environment and guidance from expert lecturers at FSM UNDIP were key assets that helped her continue to grow and achieve recognition both nationally and internationally. All of this became a strong foundation for her current success at BRIN.
Ms. Suci encourages FSM UNDIP students to remain motivated and fully committed to learning, as passion and perseverance are the keys to success in both academic and professional pursuits.
