Wahdi Siradjuddin (born June 29, 1967) is a medical specialist, lecturer, entrepreneur, and political figure. He has served as the Mayor of Metro for the 2021–2024 term, becoming the first mayor in the city’s history to be elected through an independent (non-party) candidacy in the 2020 regional election, alongside Qomaru Zaman.
Wahdi has a strong academic background. He earned a Master’s degree in Law from the State Islamic Institute (IAIN) of Metro (2020–2022), a Specialist degree in Obstetrics and Gynecology from Diponegoro University (1998–2002), and is pursuing a Doctorate in Socio-Medicine at Brawijaya University.
Before serving as Mayor of Metro, Wahdi was actively engaged as a Clinical Educator in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Lampung. He also served as a National Trainer (Advanced Trainer) at JNPK-KR and as a National Surveyor for the Hospital Accreditation Committee (KARS). Locally, he has held positions such as Chairperson of P2KP-KR Metro City, Head of the Education Coordination Team at A. Yani Metro Hospital, Head of the Hospital Education Visitation Team, and Chair of the Health Research Ethics Committee at A. Yani Metro Hospital. Wahdi is also well-known for his active involvement in various social and educational activities in Metro City and is recognized as a successful entrepreneur, with ventures in Sharia-compliant hotels, family tourism, souvenir centers, and various other businesses.
