Dr. Teguh Muttaqie, S.T., M.Sc. (born in Semarang on 19 November 1985) is an Indonesian researcher and research leader specializing in hydrodynamics technology and maritime engineering. He currently serves as Head of the Research Center for Hydrodynamics Technology at the National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN), specifically under the Research Organization for Energy and Manufacturing.
Dr. Teguh is an alumnus of the Naval Architecture Study Program at Universitas Diponegoro (UNDIP), graduating in 2008. He subsequently pursued advanced studies and earned a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree from the University of Ulsan in 2017, and later obtained a Doctor of Engineering (Dr. Eng.) degree from Pukyong National University in 2020.
As a researcher, Dr. Teguh is actively involved in various scientific activities and research collaborations. His research works include studies on ship hull design and structural responses to hydrodynamic loads, which have been published in international journals.
In his leadership role at BRIN, Dr. Teguh promotes research collaboration with various institutions and industries. For example, he has led cooperation between BRIN and state-owned enterprises to develop environmentally friendly concrete using industrial waste materials as part of sustainable coastal infrastructure solutions. In addition, under his direction, the research center has also collaborated with sports organizations and universities in applied hydrodynamics technology research.
Through his leadership, the Research Center for Hydrodynamics Technology is committed to developing technological innovations that support national development in the fields of marine science, ocean energy, and safe, efficient, and sustainable maritime technology.
