Setyo Sukarno (born August 6, 1966) is a politician from the Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle (PDI Perjuangan) who serves as the Regent of Wonogiri for the 2025–2030 term. He assumed office on February 20, 2025, after being inaugurated by President Prabowo Subianto at the State Palace in Jakarta.
Setyo Sukarno completed his secondary education at SLTA Batik Surakarta (1982–1985) before earning a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from Diponegoro University (1985–1990).
Before being sworn in as Regent, Setyo had extensive work experience, including serving as a classroom teacher at STM Pancasila 3 Baturetno (1992–1999), Member of the Regional House of Representatives (DPRD) of Wonogiri Regency (1999–2004, 2004–2009, 2009–2014), Speaker of the DPRD Wonogiri Regency (2014–2019, 2019–2020), and Deputy Regent of Wonogiri (2021–2025).
In the 2020 Wonogiri Regional Election, he ran as the deputy to Regent Joko Sutopo, supported by PDI Perjuangan, Golkar Party, and the National Mandate Party (PAN).
