Dr. Ars. Sam’ani Intakoris, S.T., M.T. (born July 21, 1969) is the elected Regent of Kudus for the 2025–2030 term. Previously, he served as the Regional Secretary of Kudus Regency from 2018 to 2023.
Before being elected as Regent, Sam’ani began his career as Head of Quality Control at PT Indra Karta Konsultan ADB XII (1994–1997). In 1998, he decided to join the civil service. Demonstrating exceptional capability, he quickly advanced, being appointed Head of Section for Trade and Industry at Bappeda Kendari City.
In 1999, he was entrusted as Head of Section for Irrigation at Bappeda Kendari City. While building his career, Sam’ani pursued a Master’s degree in Engineering at Diponegoro University (1999–2002) and later completed a Doctorate in Architecture at Diponegoro University, graduating in 2019.
His dedication as a civil servant continued upon returning to Kudus in 2003, where he was appointed Head of Section for Road and Bridge Maintenance at the Public Works Department (Bina Marga Subdivision). In 2004, he also served as Head of Subdivision for Economy and Development at Bappeda Kudus. On August 1, 2023, Sam’ani was rotated to serve as Head of the Kudus Regency Archives and Library Office, a position he held until April 15, 2024.
