Deputy Regent of Pemalang, Nurkholes, is a well-known figure among the people of Pemalang Regency. In addition to being a retired civil servant, he is also an entrepreneur and the owner of the Comal Baru Water Park.
Born in Pemalang on August 5, 1967, he successfully built his career and eventually became Deputy Regent, serving alongside Regent Anom Widiyantoro for the 2025–2030 term. Both were inaugurated by President Prabowo at the Merdeka Palace in Jakarta on February 20, 2025.
Nurkholes earned his Bachelor of Law degree (1986–1991) from Sultan Agung Islamic University and later pursued a Master of Science (1997–2002) at Diponegoro University.
Together with Anom Widiyantoro, Nurkholes won the 2024 Pemalang Regional Election to serve as Regent and Deputy Regent for the 2025–2030 period, carrying the vision and mission of transforming Pemalang Regency into a progressive and leading region in Central Java.
Now, under their administration, numerous challenges must be addressed, ranging from infrastructure development, waste management, food security, healthcare, employment, and education, which have become key priorities.
