Dr. Noor Rachmad, S.H., M.H. (born July 12, 1958) is an Indonesian prosecutor within the Attorney General’s Office of the Republic of Indonesia. He has served as the Deputy Attorney General for General Crimes (Jaksa Agung Muda Bidang Pidana Umum/Jampidum) since November 2015. In addition to this role, Noor Rachmad was also elected as Chairman of the Indonesian Prosecutors Association (Persatuan Jaksa Indonesia/ PJI) in December 2015.

Noor Rachmad earned his Bachelor of Law degree from the Faculty of Law, Diponegoro University, class of 1979, and graduated in 1983. He later pursued a Master’s degree at Airlangga University, Surabaya, graduating in 1999, and a Doctorate at Padjadjaran University, Bandung, which he completed in 2009.

Throughout his career, Noor Rachmad has held several key positions, including Head of the Legal Information Center of the Attorney General’s Office of Indonesia (2011), Chief Prosecutor of North Sumatra High Prosecutor’s Office (2012), Deputy for Legal Affairs at the Coordinating Ministry for Political, Legal, and Security Affairs (2013), Deputy Attorney General for Civil and State Administrative Affairs (2013), and Deputy Attorney General for General Crimes (2015). He also served as Chairman of the Indonesian Prosecutors Association (PJI) from 2015 to 2018.
