Drs. H. Nadjmi Adhani, M.Si. (September 27, 1969 – August 10, 2020) was an Indonesian politician and bureaucrat. He served as the Mayor of Banjarbaru from 2016 until 2020, succeeding former mayor Ruzaidin Noor and acting mayor Martinus, after winning the 2015 Banjarbaru mayoral election with his running mate, deputy mayor Darmawan Jaya Setiawan.
Throughout his life, Nadjmi pursued a remarkable educational journey. After graduating from a public senior high school in Banjarmasin, he enrolled at the Academy of Home Affairs Governance (*Akademi Pemerintahan Dalam Negeri* / APDN) in 1991.
He later continued his studies to earn a Bachelor’s degree in Social and Political Sciences from Diponegoro University (1996) and a Master’s degree in Government Economics from Gadjah Mada University (2002).
During his career as a civil servant, Nadjmi held several positions, including Head of Landasan Ulin Barat Urban Village (1997–2000), Head of Banjarbaru Utara Urban Village (2000–2002), Head of the Subdivision for Village Government and Community Empowerment, Banjarbaru City Secretariat (2002–2004), and Head of the Subdivision for Regional Development and Agrarian Affairs, Banjarbaru City Secretariat (2005–2009).
His career continued to rise as he was appointed Subdistrict Head (Camat) of South Banjarbaru (2010–2012) and Subdistrict Head of Landasan Ulin (2012–2016). Eventually, he ran in the Banjarbaru mayoral election and successfully became Mayor of Banjarbaru for the 2016–2021 term.
