Muhammad Haris (born 6 February 1966) is an Indonesian politician who currently serves as a Member of the House of Representatives of the Republic of Indonesia (DPR RI) for the 2024–2029 term. He represents the Central Java I electoral district and is a member of the Prosperous Justice Party (PKS) parliamentary faction.

Previously, he served as Deputy Mayor of Salatiga for two consecutive terms, from 2011 to 2016 and from 2017 to 2022.

Muhammad Haris completed his undergraduate studies in Literature at Universitas Gadjah Mada in 1998. He then pursued a master’s degree in Political Science at Universitas Diponegoro, graduating in 2008. To further deepen his expertise in politics, he continued his doctoral studies at the same university, Universitas Diponegoro, within the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, and successfully earned his doctorate in 2020.

Muhammad Haris has an extensive organizational background, which has provided him with broad experience in organizational leadership. He has held several key positions, including Chairman of the Central Java Regional Leadership Council (DPW) of PKS, Presidium Member of the Central Java Regional Council (MW) of KAHMI, and Deputy Chairman of the Research and Development Agency (Balitbang) of the PKS Central Executive Board (DPP).

Currently, Muhammad Haris serves as a Member of the DPR RI for the 2024–2029 term.
