Dato’ Indera Hermono (born 19 January 1960) is a diplomat who has served as the Ambassador of Indonesia to Malaysia from 2020 to 2025, after which he will be succeeded by Raden Dato Mohammad Iman Hascarya Kusumo. Previously, he also served as the Ambassador of Indonesia to Spain from 2018 to 2020.

He is an alumnus of the Department of Trade Administration, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, graduating in 1980. Earlier in his career, he served for an extended period as Head of the Socio-Cultural Information Section at the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia (KBRI) in Colombia from 1992 to 1996.

In 2012, he was seconded to the Director of Foreign Cooperation of BNP2TKI. He also held the position of Secretary of the Directorate General of Protocol and Consular Affairs. After that, he served as Deputy Ambassador in Malaysia. He returned to serve as Principal Secretary of BNP2TKI and was then appointed as Indonesian Ambassador to Spain. Furthermore, he served as Ambassador Ri to Malaysia for the 2020 period until now. Hermono’s career journey is unique, he is known as an official who never finished serving, meaning that before his term expired, he was assigned to various positions at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
