Abdul Kadir Karding (born March 25, 1973) is an Indonesian politician and bureaucrat. He served as Minister of Protection of Indonesian Migrant Workers from 2024 to 2025. Previously, he served as a member of the People’s Representative Council of the Republic of Indonesia (DPR RI) from 2009 to 2024, representing the electoral district of Central Java VI. A member of the National Awakening Party (PKB), Abdul Kadir previously served as Chairman of Commission VIII of the DPR RI.
He graduated from the Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences (then the Faculty of Fisheries) at Diponegoro University (UNDIP) in 1997 and from the UNDIP Master of Public Administration Program in 2009. He currently serves as Chairman of the IKA UNDIP. He is a native of Central Sulawesi, originally from Sojol, Donggala Regency.
