Dion Agasi Setiabudi (born 7 July 1989) is an Indonesian politician from the Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle (PDI Perjuangan) who serves as Deputy Regent of Purworejo for the 2025–2030 term. He assumed office on 20 February 2025 after being inaugurated by Prabowo Subianto at the State Palace, Jakarta.
Dion spent his childhood and completed his primary education at SD Maria, Purworejo (1995–2001). He then continued his studies at SMP Bruderan, Purworejo (2001–2004) and De Britto College Senior High School, Yogyakarta (2004–2007). After graduating from high school, he pursued his undergraduate studies at Universitas Pelita Harapan, graduating in 2011.
In 2018, he earned a Master of Science (M.Si.) degree after completing four years of postgraduate study at Universitas Diponegoro.
Prior to his inauguration as Deputy Regent, Dion served as Chairman of the Purworejo Regency Regional House of Representatives (DPRD) for the 2019–2024 term. He also holds the position of Chairman of the Purworejo Regency Branch Leadership Council (DPC) of PDI Perjuangan.
Beyond politics, Dion is actively involved in youth-oriented activities, including serving as a patron of e-sports, a sport widely popular among young people. He is also known for his engagement in youth development initiatives, notably having initiated the “DPRD Goes to School” program during his tenure as Chairman of the Purworejo Regency DPRD.
