Ammy Amalia Fatma Surya (born 21 September 1982) is an Indonesian politician born in Bogor. She was inaugurated as Vice Regent of Cilacap on 20 February 2025, serving alongside Syamsul Aulia Rachman as Regent of Cilacap after winning the 2024 Cilacap Regional Election. She is the daughter of Cilacap-based entrepreneurs Mulia Budi Artha and Siti Fatimah, and has one child named Prabaswara Affiyanda Budiartha.
Ammy completed her secondary education at State Senior High School 1 Semarang, graduating in 2000. She earned her Bachelor of Law degree from the Faculty of Law, Universitas Diponegoro in 2004. From 2005 to 2008, she pursued a Master’s degree in Notarial Law at the University of Indonesia.
She began her professional career in 2006–2008 as a Senior Associate at Nugraha & Panjaitan Law Office. She also served as a substitute notary at the Sri Rachma Chandrawati, SH Notary Office, and later became the owner of Ammy Amalia Fatma Surya, S.H. Class II Auctioneer Office.
In 2014, Ammy was elected as a Member of the House of Representatives of the Republic of Indonesia (DPR RI) from Central Java Electoral District VIII, securing 28,252 votes. She served on Commission II of the DPR RI, which oversees domestic governance, state apparatus, electoral affairs, land issues, and agrarian reform.
On 20 February 2025, she was officially inaugurated as Vice Regent of Cilacap for the 2025–2030 term.
Ammy has been actively involved in various professional and political organizations. From 2008 to 2013, she served as Head of Advocacy at the Regional Leadership Council of the Partai Amanat Nasional (PAN) of Cilacap Regency. She was also Secretary of the Indonesian Class II Auctioneers Association from 2010 to 2011, and a shareholder of Suriyah Sharia Bank Cilacap.
Between 2014 and 2018, Ammy held the position of Deputy Secretary General of the Indonesian Parliamentary Women’s Caucus. From 2022 to 2024, she served as Head of Advocacy and Legal Aid at the Indonesian Trade Security Committee. In 2019, she officially joined the Partai NasDem.
