A recipient of the prestigious Chevening Scholarship, Bintang earned an MSc in Energy and Environment from the University of Leeds. He founded Koinpack ([https://www.koinpack.id/](https://www.koinpack.id/)) to help eliminate plastic waste. This Indonesian startup sells consumer products such as soap, shampoo, and rice from companies like P&G in reusable packaging. In addition to benefiting the environment, customers receive discounts on future purchases after returning the packaging, which can be reused up to 20 times before being recycled.

Launched in March 2020, Koinpack claims to have sold more than 20,000 alternatives to sachet packaging, available online as well as through small shops, waste banks, and selected local mom-and-pop stores. Koinpack is also available via its Android app ([https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.gds.koinpack](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.gds.koinpack)) and can be ordered through WhatsApp ([http://bit.do/OrderKoinpack](http://bit.do/OrderKoinpack)).

The Forbes 30 Under 30 list has been regarded as one of the most coveted achievements among influential figures worldwide. Being included on this list is a lifelong aspiration for many, and for some, a dream to achieve before turning 30.

This recognition is known to be highly competitive. With only 600 slots and more than 15,000 applicants, the Forbes 30 Under 30 list has an acceptance rate comparable to Harvard and other prestigious universities. The selection process is not simple but involves multiple stages. Drawing from hundreds of credible references, more than 100 Forbes reporters travel across countries in their respective fields to identify young entrepreneurs capable of transforming society. Other notable Indonesians who have made the list include Maudy Ayunda and Jerome Polin, who were featured in the Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia 2021 list.
