Dr. Abdul Aziz, S.H., M.Hum., a native of Aceh born in Kampung Keude on 12 March 1974, is an Indonesian judge and judicial official who currently serves as Chairman of the Mempawah District Court, a strategic position within Indonesia’s judicial system.

Dr. Abdul Aziz completed his undergraduate studies in law at the Faculty of Law, Universitas Diponegoro, graduating in 1998. He then pursued postgraduate education, earning his master’s degree (M.Hum.) from Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) and later obtaining a doctoral degree in law from Universitas Syiah Kuala (USK).

Throughout his career in the judiciary, Dr. Aziz has held various important positions. He began his service as a Civil Servant Candidate (CPNS) and subsequently as a permanent civil servant at the Jantho District Court from 1999 to 2000. Over the course of his career, he has served as a judge at several district courts, including Lhoksukon, Sigli, Pekanbaru, Bandung, and Subang. He also served as Vice Chairman and later Chairman of the Lhoksukon District Court, as well as a Corruption Court (Tipikor) Judge at the Banda Aceh District Court. His career trajectory reflects consistent dedication and commitment to the judicial profession.
