Suyono S.IP M.Si (born April 27, 1966) is the Deputy Regent of Batang, Central Java for the 2017-2022 period accompanying Regent Wihaji. The tagline of the Government of Regent Wihaji and Deputy Regent Suyono is Guyub Rukun Mbangun Batang.
Suyono completed his Bachelor’s degree in the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Widya Mataram University, Yogyakarta, graduating in 2007 and his Master’s degree in the Faculty of Economics and Business, Diponegoro University, graduating in 2014.
Suyono is known as a leader who is close to the people. His style without protocol makes him easily accessible to the people. His blusukan habit began when he served as deputy regent, where he often visited the homes of poor people, distributed rice, circumcised orphans, and performed Friday prayers around.
