Prof. Dr. H. Eman Suparman, S.H., M.H. born April 23, 1959) is the Head of the Judicial Supervision and Investigation Division at the Judicial Commission of the Republic of Indonesia who also serves as a Member of the Judicial Commission. He served as Chairman of the Judicial Commission from 2010 – 2013.
The father of two daughters completed his Bachelor’s degree in Law from Padjadjaran University (Unpad) in 1982, then completed his Master’s degree in the Postgraduate Faculty of Gajah Mada University (UGM) in 1988, then continued his Doctoral Program in Law at Diponegoro University (UNDIP) and graduated in 2004. He earned his professorship in 2009.
Eman Suparman was officially elected as chairman of the Judicial Commission (KY) for the 2010-2015 period after defeating other candidate for chairman, Abas Said, in the election. In the election, Eman won the support of four KY commissioners while Abbas Said only won the support of three votes.
During his career, the man born in Kuningan Regency on April 23, 1959 has written various scientific works in the form of books and local and national journals, and has conducted various research. In addition, this Unpad Professor has participated in various trainings at home and abroad such as in the UK, Netherlands, Bangkok, and several other countries.
