Priyo Iswanto (born May 10, 1962) is an Indonesian diplomat born in Kudus, Central Java. He graduated with a bachelor’s degree in English literature from Diponegoro University in 1985 and a master’s degree in law from Padjadjaran University in 2005.
In 2017, he was appointed as the Indonesian Ambassador to Colombia. In May 2018, the Colombian National Police Academy awarded him the “Francisco de Paula Santader” award for his services in improving relations between Indonesia and Colombia, especially in the fields of law and democracy. In November 2018, he received the “Best member of Diplomatic Corps in Colombia” award from the Gracetas de Colombia press organization for strengthening bilateral relations and positive perspectives on Colombia. In May 2019, he received an award from the Faculty of Medicine of the National University of Bogota for his dedication to upholding and introducing the values of the Indonesian nation through Pancasila.
