Heru Sudjatmoko (born June 13, 1951) is an Indonesian politician who served as Deputy Governor of Central Java from August 23, 2013 to August 23, 2018. Previously, he served as Regent of Purbalingga from 2010 to 2013. He ran as a candidate for Deputy Governor in the 2013 Central Java Gubernatorial Election paired with Ganjar Pranowo who was supported by the Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle and emerged as the winner with 48.82% of the vote.
Heru Sudjatmoko is an alumnus of the Masters of Public Administration or Government Management from Diponegoro University, Semarang in 2003.
Before becoming Deputy Governor of Central Java accompanying Ganjar Pranowo, Heru was the Regent of Purbalingga from 2010 to 2013. And was once the Regional Secretary of Kudus Regency (2005-2010). He served as Acting Governor of Central Java who was inaugurated on February 15, 2018 considering the implementation of the voting for the Election of Governor and Deputy Governor (Pilgub) of Central Java which will be held on June 27, 2018.
