Hevearita Gunaryanti Rahayu (born May 4, 1966), known as Mbak Ita, is an Indonesian politician from the Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle (PDIP) who has served as Mayor of Semarang since January 30, 2023. She served as Deputy Mayor of Semarang for two terms under Mayor Hendrar Prihadi.
As a child, Ita attended elementary school at Citarum Elementary School, Semarang from 1972 to 1978. Then she continued to Maria Mediatri Middle School, and Semarang 1 High School. She is a graduate of the Faculty of Agriculture, Veteran National Development University, Yogyakarta (1984 to 1989). After graduating from the undergraduate program, Ita continued to the Masters level, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Diponegoro University (2018 to 2019) and the Doctoral level of Public Administration, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Diponegoro University (2020 to 2023). In addition to formal education, Ita is also recorded as having been involved in various organizations, starting from Corporate Secretary of the Cepu Block Participation Invest Cooperation Agency, the 4 BUMND Cooperation Agency, to Chair of the Cepu Block PI BKS (2014-2016).
Throughout her career, Ita has received a number of awards. She was awarded the Satyalancana Development Award for Cooperatives and SMEs. Then in 2019, Ita received the Regional Competitiveness Index Award (IDSD) at the Central Java Province level.
