dr. Agustinus Taolin, SpPD-KGEH, FINASIM, whose real name is Taolin Agustinus and is better known as Agus Taolin (born August 11, 1960) is an internal medicine specialist who has been officially appointed as the elected Regent of Belu for the 2021-2024 period.
After completing his elementary and secondary education in Belu, he decided to pursue higher education outside his hometown, and migrated to Yogyakarta. In Yogyakarta, he studied in the General Medicine study program, Faculty of Medicine, Gadjah Mada University, graduating in 1988 and completing his General Medicine education, he took specialist education, taking a disease specialist at Diponegoro University, graduating in 1998.
In his position as an internal medicine doctor, Agus is also active in medical organizations. He is trusted to be the chairman of the Cooperation and Partnership Division of PB PABDI (Central Board of the Indonesian Internal Medicine Experts Association) for the 2018-2021 period. He was also awarded as an exemplary doctor at the Community Health Center level throughout Indonesia several years ago.
