Nur Hidayat Sardini, or his full name, Dr. Nur Hidayat Sardini, S.Sos., S,H., M.Si., is a lecturer at the Department of Politics and Government Science (DPIP), Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Diponegoro University. He once served as the Chairperson of the Central Java Provincial Election Supervisory Committee (2003-2004). Founder and at the beginning of its establishment, he served as Secretary of the Association for Elections and Democracy (PERLUDEM), a forum for former functionaries of the 2004 Election Supervisory Committee, Chairperson of the Indonesian General Election Supervisory Body (BAWASLU RI, 2008-2011), Member of the Honorary Council of Election Organizers of the Republic of Indonesia (DKPP RI, 2012-2017).
Nur Hidayat Sardini is an alumnus of the Bachelor’s degree in Government Science, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Diponegoro University, Semarang, graduating in 1996, a Master’s degree in Political Science, University of Indonesia, Jakarta, graduating in 2004 and a Doctorate in Political Science, Padjadjaran University, Bandung, graduating in 2015.
After being around for no less than 15 (fifteen) years in the Election organizing institution, the man who is familiarly called NHS returned to the campus where he taught, and was elected as Secretary of the Doctoral Study Program in Social Sciences (2017-2020), and is now the Head of the Department of Politics and Government Science (DPIP) FISIP UNDIP, Semarang.
