Prof. Dr. Nunuk Suryani, M.Pd. (born November 8, 1966) is a Director General of Teachers and Education Personnel, Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology who served in the period 2023-present. She previously served as Secretary of the Directorate General of Teachers and Education Personnel. She held this position from June 4, 2020 before being appointed by the Minister of Education, Culture, Research and Technology Nadiem Makarim to serve as Director General of Teachers and Education Personnel replacing Iwan Syahril, effective February 22, 2023.

Nunuk completed her undergraduate education in “Indonesian History” at Diponegoro University in 1989. Then, she took a Master of Education degree in “History Education” at Jakarta State University in 1997. She continued her Doctoral studies (S3) in “Educational Technology” at Jakarta State University in 2003.

From 2017 to 2020, Nunuk was the Head of the Principal Development and Empowerment Institute (LPPKS) of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology. At the same time, he was also trusted as the Head of the Educational Quality Assurance and Development Institute (LPPMP) of Sebelas Maret University (UNS) recorded from 2019 to June 2020. And in 2020, he was entrusted as Secretary of the Directorate General of GTK, Kemendikbudristek and for eight months concurrently served as Plt. Director General of GTK, before finally officially serving as Director General of Teachers and Education Personnel, Kemendikbudristek.

Since April 19, 2016, he has officially become the 177th Professor of Sebelas Maret University (UNS) and the 55th Professor of FKIP UNS with a scientific oration entitled “Utilization of Digital Media to Improve the Quality and Attraction of History Learning”.
