Hamidah Abdurrachman (born October 22, 1956) is an academic who serves as a professor of Law at Pancasakti University, Tegal. She was also a commissioner of the National Police Commission for the period 2012 – 2016. Hamidah was elected together with five other members, namely Adrianus Meliala, Brigadier General (Ret.) Syafriadi Cut Ali, Edi Syahputra Hasibuan, M. Nasser, and Logan Siagian. While the other three members, the Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs (Chairman), the Minister of Home Affairs (Deputy Chair), and the Minister of Law and Human Rights are ex-officio members, from government circles.

Hamidah Abdurrachman obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Law from Satya Wacana University (1981), a Master of Law from Diponegoro University (2000), and a Doctorate in Law from Padjajaran University (2010).

Hamidah Abdurrachman is a member of Kompolnas from academic circles. Before becoming a member of Kompolnas, Hamidah was a lecturer at the Faculty of Law, Pancasakti University, Tegal, and also served as dean at the faculty. Outside of her busy schedule as a legal practitioner, Hamidah is a social activist who often assists with issues of women, children, and domestic violence. After her assignment as a Kompolnas commissioner, Hamidah returned to campus, teaching at Pancasakti University, Tegal. In 2023, Hamidah Abdurrachman was inaugurated as a professor in the field of Law at Pancasakti University, Tegal.
