Didik Sudiarto currently works as Director of PT Kurnia Mitra Makmur. He graduated from the Faculty of Fisheries in 1986 at Diponegoro University. As a director of PT Kurnia Mitra Makmur, he previously worked in several farms. He is from Purworejo, Central Java.
During the practicum, students spend several days in a group living in a tent. In this mes, the students carved many beautiful memories with some friends. They often dive into the sea and river together to look for fish. Some of his friends who are in the fisheries business, he said, are not many. Most of them only work in a company professionally. Didik himself initially worked in several ponds. At that time, there were not many companies that relied on fish from ponds.
Unfortunately, the prospect of pond fisheries at that time was declining, due to land destruction in the coastal area. Therefore, he decided to switch to capture fisheries. Admittedly, the land was wide open, but the challenges were quite tough. Based on his experience, Didik decided to handle only the heart of fisheries, namely processing, rather than cultivating. Didik Sudiarto now manages fisheries in Purwakarta’s Jatiluhur Reservoir area, living and working in Jakarta. His factory remains in Purwakarta, West Java.
